History of Le Pavillon de Raba
The mansion was built in 1783 by the famous architect, Victor Lewis. It was owned by Portuguese exiles who were merchants by the name of Rabas. A guest house was also built on the property to accommodate the many prosperous visitors they received and entertained. In 2007, the hotel was renovated for modern conveniences, but it still retains its charms. Still featuring vaulted ceilings and curved arches, it combines technology and old world beauty. The result is one of the most beautiful boutique hotels in France.
